... was born in Polk County, Florida and received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University. In his early thirties, Mark returned to school at the Hypnosis Motivation Institute (aka, HMI/Behavior Science Center) in Los Angeles, CA and received his certification as a Master Hypnotherapist specializing in Body Language and Behavior Modification. His earliest clients were from the Performing Arts/Broadway community in New York City, including Tony-winning actors and Emmy-nominated actresses.
Mark's work soon garnered attention in the media when he began working on TLC's relationship and dating series, DATE PATROL as a Communication and Body Language Coach. OPRAH WINFREY called him an "authority on love" when she invited him to be a guest expert helping THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW to select a deserving couple for a MILLION DOLLAR WEDDING GIVEAWAY. For two seasons, Mark helped families in conflict as the Host and Life Coach on HGTV's, UNDER 1 ROOF. He aided contestants on NBC's game show, IDENTITY to win up to a half million dollars by using body language cues to correctly identify the hobbies and professions of covert participants. Mark has also been a guest expert on VH1, THE STYLE NETWORK, MTV, LIFETIME, ACCESS HOLLYWOOD and he is a currently a recurring contributor on THE DREW DREW SHOW on HEADLINE NEWS.
In 2008, Mark released his first book of coaching skills, WHO ARE YOU CHOOSING TO BE? The book became available in paperback in December of 2009. Mark contributes articles for online media and magazines, and continues to appear in television and radio programming. He teaches workshops and seminars around the country, and is a frequent keynote speaker for groups, businesses, corporations, and non-profit organizations. Mark's joint coaching venture, NexAim, with corporate consultant, Mike Amado, works with businesses and organizations desirous of placing a priority on humanity and integrity. He maintains a private practice in Los Angeles, CA and works with people around the world via phone coaching and through computer communications.
